Do you use Windows Vista?

An issue in Windows Vista currently affects S-SIB. SkyyFi has notified Microsoft about the issue, and it is under investigation by Microsoft. However, if you use Windows Vista, please follow these steps.

  1. Launch SSIB.

  2. Launch Microsoft Internet Explorer.

  3. From the Tools menu, choose Internet Options.

The Internet Options dialog appears

  1. Near the bottom of the Connections Tab, click LAN settings.

The Local Area Network (LAN) Settings dialog appears.

  1. Click Use a proxy server for your LAN.

  2. In the Address Space below, type Address: 127.0.0.1, Port 8181.

  3. Click OK, OK, Relaunch IE.

S-SIB should now be connected to the Internet.

After using SSIB, if you want to use Vista IE without SSIB, you will have to go through this process again and uncheck the “Use Proxy server…” box.
