Checking for the latest version of S-SIB
Seamless SkyyFi’s S-SIB periodically updates S-SIB. As a licensed customer, you can check for updates by going to the Secure Browsing window and choosing Help, Check for Updates.
One of two things will happen:
A window appears indicating that a new version is available. To download the new version, click Yes. SkyyFi downloads and installs the update, then prompts you to restart SkyyFi to complete the update.
A dialog titled “No new updates” appears. If it does, click OK.
Reporting a problem with S-SIB
If something doesn’t work as you expect it to, go to the Secure Browsing window and choose Help, Report a problem.
Browsing the Web securely
S-SIB was designed to protect people who connect to the Internet via unsecured wireless connections, but it doesn’t change the way people interact with the Internet.
To browse the web securely, follow these steps.
Log on to S-SIB
In the Secure Browsing window, click the S-SIB logo.
After initializing the security connection, a web browser appears and logs into your default home page.
Visiting a Web page
To visit a web page, follow these steps.
From the SecureWeb window File menu, click Open Url.
The Open URL dialog appears.

URL stands for Uniform Resource Locator, the text you type into a web browser’s address bar when you want to visit a specific web site. (e.g. www.seamlessp2p.net)
Type the web address in the dialog and click OK.
The SecureWeb window shows the page.
