What is S-SIB™?

S-SIB™ uses its Wireless Security Software and creates a VPN (Virtual Private Network), an encrypted, hacker-resistant "tunnel" between the end user's computer and the secure Skyy-Fi network gateway. This tunnel uses both hardware and software components to protect end user data that travels across any type of network to the Internet.

Should a hacker actually capture any data, it will be scrambled beyond recognition, impossible to read.

Many large corporations use Virtual Private Networks to:

Why do I need secure browsing?

Accessing the Internet at un-secured Wi-Fi access points in a public place, such as a hotel or coffee shop, is very convenient, but it can be very dangerous since your activity can be intercepted, resulting in stolen passwords and data. Even if you sign on to a secure server (https://) like a bank's, the initial sign on to the bank's site can be intercepted by a hacker using an "evil twin" attack and mimicing your bank's sign in page.

With recent advances in hacker technology, the Single Socket Layer (SSL) encryption used by banks may no longer be adequate to protect your data or your connection. Don't my firewall and virus protection already protect my computer?

What about Privacy and Anonymity?

You may already know this, but you can be tracked quite easily by the IP address assigned to you when you go online. Where you are connecting from and sites you visit are all captured by your Internet provider and can be tied directly to the account holder. The websites you visit also capture your IP address. Other than the obvious privacy concerns, this can potentially expose you to certain types of attacks and SPAM.

S-SIB™ is not just a VPN service. It's an Internet privacy solution. In addition to encrypting all your data that passes through our gateway, we exchange your IP address for one of ours. To everyone on the Internet, you are an anonymous user whose traffic originates in our data center. Even your own Internet provider cannot track you or see your traffic.
